Tengnoupal Battalion of IGAR (S) intercepted illicit cash worth Rs 9.11 lakhs at Khudengthabi Check post on 14 Feb 2022.
The Assam Rifles troops during routine checks came upon illicit money being carried by two individuals coming from Moreh in a Maruti Alto car. On being questioned, the individuals could not explain the source of the money.
The two individuals along with the seized currency and the vehicle have been handed over to Moreh Police for further action.
